I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful!

Remember in "What About Bob?" with Bill Murray, who happens to be one of the greatest actors of all time in my never to be humble opinion, when Bob would get up in the morning and chant his mantra "I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful" over and over? Yeah I love that part and I use that lots when I'm not feeling top notch.

I've been feeling terrific post op but as anyone who has tried to really take care of their body knows, it takes LOTS of time. You're either eating, planning what to eat, preparing something to eat or working out. Hence not a lot'o blogging time. But I'm really doing well.

We're having a ton of fun at tee ball. We've been going to the beach a lot. Tried to go see the premier of Batman and was totally thwarted. That stunk! The paper said June 18 at 12:01am. To me, that means Friday night. No, I find out that means Thursday night. What the crap kinda movie opens on a Thursday night? Whatever, we're going Monday night. Thanks Jones!

I would say that if you really want to homeschool---yes, go for the charter school. I've used K12 since day 1, and it's not as bad as you'd think. Yes--you have to play by their rules with the testing and attendance, but the curriculum only has to act as a guide. I used it fairly loosely, and was able to just go on teaching what I wanted how I wanted. They are getting increasingly more "anal" about things (i.e. now work samples are required)---but I figure it IS my money and i might as well be getting some of it back in a useable form. IDEA is pretty reasonable too (if it's offered there). Anyway--that's my two bits about the situation :)!. You'll find as you go along and get better at it, you will come across tons of ways to educate your kids for free, and can be off that "assistance" pretty quick.

Best to you!

Oh---and Miki told me something about your blog. I guess she lurked it to find out about your class reunion :)! she's fun!

Sorry you missed the Batman movie-- it was totally great!

I am really going to have to use that 'I feel good, I feel great trick.'
