For Nana

Thanks Elena for the cute cute cute example...

Hopefully Nana does not lurk on my blog.  This is my plan for Nana's gift on Mom's day.  She saw a similar one at the Crossley's that is for birthdays.  Any suggestions for colors?

Mom does a lot of black and white but I think she'd like "American colors," too. I don't think I understand the concept of what your gonna give her. It's not for FHE but for birthdays but I must be missin the idea or just dumb!

You're very welcome. I can't wait to see what you're looks like. I don't understand how you'll do birthdays either, so I am very curious what you've got in mind. Good luck.

the assignments will turn into months and each person in the family will have a heart with their day on the month on it. I'm up in the air whether to attach each successive heart to the peg or the previous heart. So for instance, Ned and I are both in June so there will be two hearts hanging from the June peg (Ned 18th and Nichole 22). Will and Kelly both in May so there will be two hearts hanging on the May peg (Kelly 2nd and Will 3rd). I really like your ribbons and the font. I think instead of painting or writing I'll find somebody who does the vinyl art thing and stick names, dates, months on it.

Oh, I get it, (I think). If you attach it to the previous heart is there a way to add new ones as baby's or in-law's and such come into the family? (or is that not an issue?) Mine are vinyl letters as well. My cousin actually did that part for me at an enrichment activity so I don't know where they got them from, but I know vinyl is readily available. Sounds like it will be really cute and handy too.
