P.S. My kids' kindergarten teacher recommended having them touch the first letter of the word they are decoding (specifically)-- I think sometimes it gives them a good place to start from. . .(I am no reading expert)
P.P.S. I hope you don't mind, I think I may be stealing Reed's name. . . .it is such a great one (and since it is a family name, I can't resist!)
