Big Love Bigotry

from the Official Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Newsroom
Before the first season of the HBO series Big Love aired more than two years ago, the show’s creators and HBO executives assured the Church that the series wouldn’t be about Mormons.

Bigot = one who regards or treats the members of a group with hatred or intolerance

...more and more Mormon themes are now being woven into the show and that the characters are often unsympathetic figures who come across as narrow and self-righteous.

From Elder M. Russell Ballard and Elder Robert D. Hales of the Council of the Twelve Apostles
when expressing themselves in the public arena, Latter-day Saints should conduct themselves with dignity and thoughtfulness

Something IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO:

The FCC is the government agency that regulates all broadcast and cable
television. File a complaint expressing your shock and dismay at HBO treating
the sacred ceremonies of any religion with such mockery and disregard, and that
it is shoddy work hiring excommunicated members/enemies of church and giving
them a public pulpit to hurt the church.

To File a complaint with the FCC go to:

Thank you for reading the LDS.org newsroom article before randomly posting about this like other have...it's a great article with good advice on how to react to these situations. I think people get all huffy and puffy about stuff like this before remembering the counsel of our leaders.... While we can't ignore it we need to remember that we've encountered this GARBAGE before and we'll be okay as long as we do just what you quoted. "conduct ourselves with dignity and thoughtfulness."
