A parent or legal guardian who is registered sex offender and has a child in an Idaho school is legally aloud on school property without notifying school officials. Idaho Code 18-8329 allows sex offenders who are parental guardians to participate in extracurricular activities during or after school hours.

But this system does not work 100% of the time. If a parent does not live with the child or does not update their address with the school, their profile will not appear. And Bonneville Joint School District is pushing for change.
