Reed is growing up! Today was the first day of his first season of soccer. When we got to Fairway Park Reed says, "Mom, I think we should just go home." It was hilarious as he always is!
He did fabulous! Much better than I thought. He knee kicked the ball a few times and paid perfect attention to Coach. His best drill was when Coach blew the whistle that meant "green light" and they had to dribble. When he blew the whistle again, "red light" and they had to stop the ball and rest their foot on top until the whistle blew again. He had that down pat!
We found out he needs cleats and "chinguards" and a ball. Coach is Hispanic and his "shinguards" sounded funny. So we'll make sure he has "chinguards" for next week.
Will was TOTALLY jealous!
